I received my PhD from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1992. Working as lecturer and scientist at university for over 15 years, I focused my research activity on Drug Design, Nanomaterials Development and Bioinformatics. As a Post-doctoral researcher I worked in 1996 at University of Durham on Nano Organic Materials and in 2004-2006 at the European Bioinformatics Institute in Cambridge on Protein Structure and Function Prediction. In addition, for eight years I was the director of the Research Results Transfer Office at Universidad San Pablo-CEU. Since middle of 2009 I am working at the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI. Currently, I am the Representative of CDTI in Brazil, and my goal is to promote international technological cooperation between Brazil and Spain.
