Carolina Cuevas
Innovation Energy Manager. Acciona Energía
Carolina is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Santiago de Chile and a Master’s Degree in Management and Technological Entrepreneurship from the Adolfo Ibáñez University. She has 11 years of experience in research, development and innovation projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency and water desalination. At the beginning of her career he worked in the implementation of desalination technologies with solar energy, in addition to the development of job competency profiles for solar installers.
She was Director of the open innovation platform in solar energy, Brilla, an initiative that fostered the development of the solar industry in Chile, promoting the link between supply, demand and the national ecosystem.
Throughout her career she has managed projects with public funds (FIC, Corfo, etc.) and private developing projects in some regions of the country, articulating relevant national and international actors. Her passion is work on projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the country, the collaboration and motivated teams.
Currently is Innovation Energy Manager of the company Acciona Energía.
