Ana Bárbara Mungaray

Dr. Ana Bárbara Mungaray-Moctezuma is Head of the Productive Development Unit (UDP for its acronym in Spanish) of the Mexican Ministry of Economy. She has held several positions before, such as the General Coordination of Strategic Planning, Assessment and Monitoring of the National Entrepreneur Institute (INADEM for its acronym in Spanish) and the General Coordination of the National Finance Program for Micro entrepreneurs (PRONAFIM for its acronym in Spanish), appointments that were granted to her by the Mexican Minister of Economy.
She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC for its acronym in Spanish), a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the UABC, where she also served as Coordinator of the graduate program “Global Development Studies” from 2011 to 2018.
