Clara Jiménez

Innovation Director. Accenture.

Clara joined Accenture in September 1996, after obtaining her specialization in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has attended the academic innovation programs at IESE Business School (Madrid) and at MIT Sloan School (Boston).  Clara has been leading innovation at Accenture Spain since January 2009 until December 2019. She currently runs the Accenture digital center in Madrid (1,700 m2 dedicated to the design and execution of workshops / events, digital co-innovation and content generation and demonstrations – PoC – in this area) and coordinates all the Accenture innovation centers in Spain. She is also Director of Madrid Innovation Lab, center of IA and DeepTechs of Madrid City Hall.  Clara has designed and launched the Accenture Public Aids Technical for capturing financial aids for Accenture and its clients.   In addition, she manages Accenture’s collaborations with the academic world and the entrepreneurial ecosystem and promotes initiatives for innovation in the field of HR. She has been a professor of postgraduate training at universities (UPM and UIMP), business schools (IEB and San Telmo), as well as a speaker at forums and events and mentor of technology-based entrepreneurial projects.  Her professional experience is extensive and very diverse (+25 years). She started working in technology, carrying out projects for different clients (mainly banks in Spain and abroad, Turkey). After several years, changed and undertaken human resources projects with technological components (organization, personnel analysis, training and development, cultural transformation, human resources portals, change management, …), and before their dedication to innovation, she was involved in the area of strategy consulting.
